I am so thrilled to see this tutorial. ...I've wanted for u to do an eye tutorial for quite a while. yr eyes always look so beautiful and especially so with this quad. I hv small, dark blue/teal hooded eyes, and I want to try a look with deep truth by mac....I love kohl pencils but I look like a panda by mid day. .....does this mean I'm applying too much kohl to upper and lower lids? I love and prefer a soft look, but I don't like for co-workers to ask me what I have under my eyes!😏 I'd really appreciate any input u cld gv me about this. Have enjoyed yr videos for a while now, and I think it's so cool u r an IB!
I get a lot of bleeding too…and I really like soft pencils and kohl so I need to be careful. What works best for me is to but a good base under the makeup. So, concealer, then powder, then an eye shadow base. And I use a brush to spread an eyeshadow base under my lower lid lashes (helps with bleeding). But during the day I'm careful not to use too much kohl as it will bleed (better at night or not at work). Use eye shadow as liner instead, maybe mixed into a pencil which will set better. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching! And happy holidays.
Thanks for your suggestions! I will play with eyeshadow as a liner more and try the layering of concealer, powder, and base for eyeliner application.
I would love for u to do even more eye makeup tutorials. They are very helpful for those of us who prefer a more natural look but with plenty of color.
Will do! Like you, I love the color but need a more natural way to integrate it into my look. The next tutorial will be integrating red into a smoky eye and a "nude". Thanks for the suggestions, and happy holidays!!!
