ABH Matte Lipstick in Buff, Dead Roses, Dusty Mauve, Rogue, Spice and Stevie

Pretty formula.  Some of the shades have odd undertones or look a little unnatural.  But that's what you get when a brand gets creative.  I like these.

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette Review

I'm skipping swatches since they're all over the internet already.

I was pleasantly surprised by this palette and like it more than I expected.  The colors really are very warm toned but each is perfect for blue eyes.  I have to mix in some lighter and darker shades to get the looks I want.  If I'm not careful, the shades can blend together and be a little muddy as many are close to each other.  But I love the palette anyway, for my coloring.

The shadows can be a little dusty or powdery at times.  Other shades are divine.  A primer helps.

Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor 700 705 710 715 720 745 755 760

I couldn't resist the "gel" concept and ended up loving these.  The smell is something some might object to (chemically fruit).

700 sand
705 dawn
710 dessert
715 arabica
720 pink cloud
745 rhubarb
755 adobe
760 vineyard

Basically, these are semi sheer but the darker ones do impart a lot of color.  The lighter ones are very subtle.  They have 2 formulas, with one adding a sparkle, if that makes sense, and the other just sheen.  The shine on them is lovely.  I keep adding new ones...

Kevyn Aucoin Ibiza Neo Highlighter Review and Swatches

Not as cool as I expected, this highlighter mixes in a touch of warm to avoid that icy cool which can be harsh.  I'm a huge fan of this palette.  The formula is creamy, finely milled and imparts a soft sheen.  It's very natural on, with none of the metallic shine or glitter.  And the shades have a touch of warmth (which also makes them harder to see on my skin since I have a warm undertone).

The first shade is a soft cool gold.
The next is a pink with a touch of warmth.
The lilac/lavender is they iciest color but it's also very ethereal on.  Truly lovely.

The rainy weather has made my swatches a little duller.  But luckily, the weather is improving.

I adore this palette.  Really does create a luminous glow.

YSL The Street and I Couture Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

These shades are really stunning!

The grey is especially pretty, a smoky matte color that is much more flattering on me than black.  The lightest pink is a champagne sort of glittery pink which actually does adhere to my skin.  One pink is a true cool watermelon and the other has a hint of salmon (the latter works much better on me).  The orange is a true orange, but not neon bright!  I like it brightening my lower lash line.

This is the better version of the couture formula and I don't need a primer with it.  YSL has improved their shadows over the past 2 years and I'm really happy with this one.

Bright?  Yes, but the colors really work on, and can be toned down.  This palette is limited edition so get it while it's still in stock.

Charlotte Tilbury Valentine Kissing and Pillow Talk Matte Lipstick Review and Swatches

Oh these work for me!

Kissing to the right below and Pillow Talk to the Left.  They look similar and do look similar on but in some ways are so very different.

Valentine is a cooler lighter pink that somehow doesn't wash me out.  It has a slight sheen, is mostly but not fully opaque and is stunning.

Pillow Talk still wins my heart.  There are those lighter (but not too light) shades that look like baby lips.  This one does it.  That soft blotted and natural perfection, in a warmer toned pink nude.  Matte, obviously.  I adore this one.

But both might be back up worthy as they're limited editions (shame).

Giorgio Armani Lip Magnet in 505, 506 and 600 Review and Swatches

These are so lovely.  They look more like a regular lipstick than a liquid one but wear super long.  The colors are vibrant and don't look dry.

505 a vivd strawberry rose, with slightly cool undertones.
506 a rose pink that is a touch warmer and less bright than 505.
600 a purplish berry than looks a lot less purple on me than swatched.

Lancome La Rose Blush Highlighter Review and Swatches

This highlighter (not blush) is so pretty.  But it's tiny!!!!

Super cool with a pink tint.

Guerlain 2017 Happy Glow (30 Year Anniversary) Meteorites Review and Swatches

These are soft, but cool toned.  Also light and with micro-glitter.  Not for everyone!!!

Mariah Carey MAC Sweet Desire Blush Review

A soft and workable peach...warm...

MAC Mariah Carey It's Everything Eyeshadow Palette

I love this cooler toned palette.  Playing up my eyes (and using a lip liner) helps me make these lighter lip shades work.

MAC Mariah Carey My Mimi Extra Dimension Skinfinish Review

Warm toned and slightly metallic, it still works on me (and I like it!).

MAC Mariah Carey Collection Swatches and Review

I will be adding videos and filling out the review as I get to it (including the uploads).

Lipstick

All I Want, Bit of Bubbly, Dahhlinggg!, MCizzle and I Get So OCC

All I want is a frosty champagne gold that looks slightly peachy on me.

Bit of Bubbly is a light beige peach and a satin look.  Very light.

Dahhlinggg! is light pink peach that is slightly warm.  Clearly more pink and cooler than Bit of Bubbly.

MCizzle is a rosy warmer peach, with more color that the first three.  The easiest of the nudes to wear (for me).

I Get So OCC is a plum brown with a hint of taupe.  Reminds me of the Rihanna taupe shade, but with a different color (similar look on me though, but deeper).

My Mimi Extra Dimension Skinfinish

A cooler copper that actually can be applied quite lightly to work well on my skin tone.  Shimmer and a touch of glitter.

Sweet Sweet Fantasy Blush

A peachy shade, deeper than I expected.  A little dry but it still applies and wears well.  I can see shimmer in the blush but it mostly looks matte on.

New Ombre Lip Pencil

A milky peach lip pencil.  Using this pencil makes the nude lip shades wear and look a lot better on me.  A must have if you get the lipsticks (and don't have another nude liner you love).

It's Everything Eyeshadow Quad

All except Image of Rapture are a touch dry but still apply well.  I was surprised at how well the shades work together.  Really great look, worn natural or as a smoky eye.

Diamond Butterfly:  a bit glittery.  Apply lightly or it can look patchy (but works great if applied lightly).  A peachy beige that is neutral but metallic/glittery.

Give My All: soft taupe brown with a lovely sheen.  A touch frosty.

Twinks:  Part of the regular collection.  Medium reddish brown, the warmest shade, and frosty.

Image of Rapture:  Love this one!  A plum brown, a touch of taupe and the most satiny (so no sheen/frost).

Givenchy Rouge Revelateur Rouge Interdit Marbled Lipstick Swatches and Review

Since I've been so bad about doing videos lately...I'm writing this one out.

Video

Givenchy has some new lipsticks coming out, and I was told the release is January 2017.  Barney's accidentally released this marbled red/black lipstick early.

The shade is a pink-black undertoned red.  Slightly cool (on me).  It's a lighter formula with mostly full coverage.  The finish is stunning. The recent trend of some (high end) lines to add a highlighter effect is present here, along with a beautiful glossiness.  It wears about 2.5 hours on me, but lipsticks never wear well on me.  And it really doesn't stain much.

The "black" is marbled throughout so each time the lipstick is applied the shade is slightly different.  I will get to a video but wanted to post the swatches before it's officially released (and likely sells out).

Sweat Cosmetics Mineral Foundation and Brush Review

I love this concept and the product!  Sweat makes a foundation (plus a bronzer and an illuminator) in a portable brush container for use during workouts and busy lives.  The mineral powder foundation has SPF, provides light to medium coverage and does wear better than most during workouts.

And the company was started by professional athlete women, including a 2 time gold medal (Olympics) winner.

Women creating products for real and very busy women.

And the foundation provides a soft glow while evening out skin tone.
